“I have had the pleasure of meeting Warren through a connection with Media Stable and my program on community radio station 94.7 The Pulse. I requested an interview with Warren after reading his story, as I have also had a rural upbringing and battled some family pressures. We first met in an on-air phone chat and when Warren was visiting Geelong recently, he kindly joined me in the station studios for a longer conversation.
This turned out to be quite emotional, as we spent almost an hour talking through his pleasant early days on the farm, before a serious turnaround that changed his life. He is honest and strong in his messaging, but still vulnerable, which gives genuine authenticity to his story.
